Saige Gripsure has an anti-slip insert that is bonded to the recycled composite decking board. It’s the perfect choice for specifiers, developers and architects, offering the highest non-slip rating, all year-round performance and durability to their clients.
The boards are coated with aggregate and injected with epoxy resin into specifically routed grooves. A bonded anti-slip insert is created as a result. As the resin is applied in liquid form, the inserts are sealed into the grooves, so water cannot penetrate between the board and inserts.
Saige Gripsure is particularly suitable for applications with a high slip potential, such as areas that need wheelchair ramps and gently sloping access paths, such as marine, coastal, and leisure environments. It was specifically developed to overcome health and safety concerns when developing outdoor environments for elderly and physically disabled people, as with many other public building projects.
Our aluminium decking is BS EN 13501-1 A2 rated for fire resistance and non-combustible, ensuring it meets the highest safety standards in UK specifications. It is ideal for use in high-rise buildings where temperatures can be extreme. It is also easy to maintain, anti-slip, hard wearing, and won't rot, warp or corrode, making it an ideal choice for high-rise building projects requiring new and retrofit balconies and roof terraces. We are also able to offer a Class A Steel subframe system to ensure a truly fire-resistant solution.
Saige's aluminium decking is available in the same colours as our BS EN 13501-1 Class B composite decking and therefore projects are enjoying a more cost-effective solution by using the 2 product lines on the same building and complying with the all-important building regulations of BS 8579.
